House rules
A booking request constitutes acceptance of all House Rules below in their entirety and complete acknowledgement of listing description from all guests on the reservation.
1. The guests' names on the reservation must match the guests' government-issued picture IDs. The host and/or host's designated agent reserves the right to verify all guests' valid unexpired government-issued picture IDs at the time of check-in and any time during the guest's stay to make sure information provided to the host on the reservation is valid for safety reasons.
2. Primary renter must be at least 25 years to book and must be among guests staying at the property. Ratio of 1 adult over 25 required for every 3 guests under 25.
3. No additional guests without homeowner's prior approval (including any visitors) over the number of guests stated on the reservation. Maximum number of people this property hosts is 10. Bringing unauthorized or undisclosed guests/ visitors, even temporarily, is prohibited. $79 per extra person per night plus $500 fee will be charged per violation. Guests may not sublet the property. There are cameras installed on the property and on our neighbor's property pointing towards the unit for monitoring the road/driveway/entrance conditions.
4. This entire property is not infant or child proof. If a guest brings an infant or a child to the premises, guest assume all responsibility, risks and liability for accidents that may happen to their children.
5. NO PETS allowed inside or outside, even temporary.
6. This is a smoke free and drug free property. If you choose to take with you any of these substances, altering or enhancing your reality, experience or emotional state, do not book this property or cancel your reservation. NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND including cigarettes, marijuana, vaping/e-cigarettes inside or outside. No drunken parties. Violators will face immediate eviction with no refund and will be responsible for all the expensive cleaning procedures to remove odor and clean the property.
7. Guests shall always shake sand off their feet or use faucets downstairs to avoid sand inside. Sand on the floor creates slip hazard and may result extra cleaning efforts at guests expense.
8. Guests assume all risks and liability in connection with occupancy of the property, including, but not limited to use of driveway, stairs, decks and railing, flooring, doors, sinks, toilet, shower, appliances, hammock, chairs and fireplace. Guests assume all responsibility, risks and liability for activities related to being on the beach or swimming in the ocean.
9. Guests may not flush any wet wipes or feminine products down the toilet (even "flushable" brands). They belong in the garbage bin, not in the plumbing.
10. No food or drinks in the bedrooms. Practice good housekeeping after your meals. Follow check-out instructions on the day of your departure.
11. Do not move furniture or decorations from their locations.
12. The winds could be strong. Hold the doors as you enter at all times.
13. Keep doors and windows closed while A/C is on to prevent freeze-up
14. Guests are liable for any damage to the house, spots on the furniture, loss of items or decorations and keeping the lighthouse in a reasonably clean condition at all times. Some items can’t be easily cleaned or replaced, please enjoy responsibly.
15. No fireworks or firearms please
16. Do not take seashells found on the property. Find your souvenirs on the beach.
